Technical requirements for the Group Multi-Currency Account (Cash Pool).

Plug-In to Web-browser

Java Runtime Environment JRE 1.4.2_xx or later version.

The Web-browser will normally advise you if JRE is missing.
Please log on to Java.sun.com if an update for the Web-browser update of JRE is necessary.

Applet

Signed applets, with rights to write on the users hard drive (Log file in temp. library), must be accepted. For this a certificate issued by Thawte (within the VeriSign group) is to be used.

The first time the applet is downloaded, the customer will receive a request if he/she will confirm a signed applet. The signature is used in order to ensure, for the customer, that the applets contents/program codes are unchanged by third party and issued by the Bank PlusGirot/Nordea..

Firewall

In most companies a firewall is used between the company’s intranet and the Internet. This firewall must allow/accept the standard protocols HTTP and HTTPS with a 128-bits encryption (SSL) and be able to communicate via port 443 (https).

It must allow that the Java applets passes, i.e. files with file extension .jar.

• VGA/resolution: 1024x768 px
• NET/MODEM: ISDN 64 kbit/s

Technical information/communication

The communication between applet and the Bank (PlusGirot/Nordea) is performed with 128-bits encryption via the protocol https.
